Achievements To Date
We aim to keep you informed of our main achievements and how we are trying to serve those either
affected by, or working in the field of, Cystinosis. These will be listed below as details become
available.

Feb 2007: We succeeded in completing our two and a half year campaign to raise £100,000 to enable
us to commit monies towards research projects, including those listed below.

Dec 2006: Committed another £22,250 for the next phase of the research projects at the University of
Sunderland headed by Dr Roz Anderson.
- 2002-2006: Provided £60,000 towards the funding of a research group at the University of
Sunderland headed by Dr Roz Anderson.
- Ongoing: Assisting in the funding of a research group at Great Ormond Street Hospital,
London headed by Dr William van't Hoff.
- July 2005: Presented a cheque for £2,542 to the Cystinosis Research Group at Robert Gordon
University, Aberdeen for the purchase of equipment to aid research projects.
