Fundraising ideas
The Foundation has been fortunate to have many individuals support our cause through the organisation and/or
participation in events that have helped raise money on our behalf.
We have provided a short
list of events that have been held by others to help you think of how you could organise your own
event:
Possible Events
- Creating and selling word searches.
- Holding a local raffle.
- Pub quiz.
- A coffee morning with friends.
- Sponsored sports event (run, cycle, sky diving!?).
How to organise / How can we help you
The Cystinosis Foundation UK will help you in any way that we can to raise money. In order to help get
you started we have created our "fundraising pack" - this pack contains background information
on Cystinosis, sponsor forms, check lists and advise on organising an event. It is available in
electronic and paper versions.
Please contact us should you wish to order one. The packs are free - all we ask is that you are genuinely interested in raising money before requesting one, as we do cover the production costs.
Tabards
Help make your event stand out. We have a limited supply of tabards that we can lend to fundraisers for the
duration of their event. Useful for running, other sporting activities, or just to help raise your profile whilst undertaking
your event. If you require a tabard, please contact us. They come in one size that fits all.
Please note: we only have a limited supply, so we can only provide to committed fundraisers. In addition, we can only provide them
for free if they are returned after use.
