Following the cancellation of the International Cystinosis Conference in July due to coronavirus, Cystinosis Ireland and Cystinosis Network Europe have announced their decision to hold a ‘Virtual International Cystinosis Conference’ online. This will take place on Saturday, 25th April, 1pm – 8pm CET (12pm – 7pm BST).
We thoroughly recommend you virtually attend. This includes Professor Herbie Newell CBE, talking about the prodrug project that we have contributed over £1m to thanks to incredible fundraising efforts by our supporters over the last 15 years.
The list of confirmed speakers also includes Prof Elena Levtchenko (Chair), Dr Atif Awan, Dr Rachel Bishop, Prof Don Cairns, Dr Anuj Chauhan, Dr Stephanie Cherqui, Prof Paul Goodyer, Prof Paul Grimm, Dr Patrick Harrison, Prof Craig Langman, Dr Joyce Senior, and more.
