Great news! We have now broken through the £80,000 mark in our attempt to raise £100,000 to fund Cystinosis research projects!
Numerous fundraising events have taken place helping us to this total and we are grateful, as ever, to all those who freely contribute their time and talents. In the last few months we have had sponsored walks, a sponsored cycle, dances and even sales of home baking. All have contributed towards our target.
And it’s fantastic to know that others are organising yet more fundraising events. We have Paul Clifford attempting to cycle over 800km through Spain, further cake sales, as well as word search and wristband sales amongst other activities.
If you are organising a fundraiser, or know of someone else who is, please contact us – it is an encouragment to us all to know how people are helping.
Also, please note that we are now able to offer fundraising packs to help you with your event, which include items such as a sponsor form template, check lists, etc.
We are still looking to raise a further £19,000 which will allow us to secure funding for further research into Cystinosis and its treatment. Therefore, we urge you to become involved where possible. All help is appreciated, big or small, and every penny takes us a step closer.
