Merry men David and Tony run the Robin Hood Half

CFUK Trustee David Benford and his friend Tony Bryan will be running the Robin Hood Half Marathon on 29th September 2013 to raise funds for the charity.

David’s daughter has cystinosis, so the cause is very close to their hearts.

David previously ran the Amsterdam Half Marathon to raise money for Cystinosis Foundation UK in 2010, discovering a few days later that he’d run with a fractured tibia. This helped a long way to explaining the pain he was suffering! This will be David’s second event and will hopefully be less painful than the last….

For Tony, this will be his first half marathon. He has recently taken part in a 24 hour running event at Catton Park and the Robin Hood is his next challenge! Please help them raise funds by sponsoring them at the below link:

Good luck!
