Paddock Wood Half Marathon

If you go down to Paddock Wood on the 25th March, you’re sure of a big surprise…

Jessica SpencerBecause among the runners at Kent’s largest half-marathon this year will be a team of 30 (yes, thirty!) hardy souls raising money for the Cystinosis Foundation UK.

Justin Spencer, whose 3 (nearly 4) year old daughter Jessica has cystinosis, has pulled together this quite incredible band of runners, joggers and generally all-round good people, each of whom is putting themselves through hours of sweaty hell to help fund research into better treatments for Jessica and other sufferers.

A number of JustGiving sites have been set up and are linked on the right-hand side of this page. You can donate directly to Justin’s page at http://www.justgiving.com/Justin-Spencer.

Justin, who himself only took up running in January of this year, has asked that direct thanks are expressed to Chris Conroy, for his help, support and organising skills, as well as to everyone at Kings Hill Football Club and Paddock Wood Athletic Club.

Good luck to Justin and team!
