Support The Adult Cohort Study

Dr William van’t Hoff, Great Ormond Street Hospital, London

The Cystinosis Foundation UK are very pleased to be involved with a new study aimed at furthering our understanding of the effects of Cystinosis in adult patients. “A National Cohort Study of Adult Cystinosis Patients” will be led by Dr William van’t Hoff of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and Professor John Feehaly of the UK Renal Association Leicester, and the Foundation will be providing over £23,000 to assist the project and employ a researcher.

Their efforts and our investment will be wasted without the support and collaboration of as many of our adult patients as possible. When you are approached please remember this: the outcomes from the research will be not only to your benefit but also to all the younger patients coming along.
