Charity quiz night in full swing.

Cystinosis Foundation UK supporter Amy Mace recently organised an ambitious charity quiz night. In addition to a quiz the event also included a raffle with generous prizes donated by local businesses. It took place on 21st May 2016 and was a huge success, 130 people took part, raising a fantastic total of £2046.

Amy’s son, Elliot was diagnosed with cystinosis at 18 months and he is now 7 years old. The quiz night took place at Elliot’s school, Birchington Primary School in Kent.

Amy said: “I’d like to thank my family and friends for their support on the night and my dad Tony for helping to organise the quiz & for being a fantastic quizmaster!”

Cystinosis Foundation UK is extremely grateful to Amy Mace and everyone who helped organise the event, plus the local businesses that donated raffle prizes and of course everyone that attended on the night! If you are thinking of organising your own fundraising event please do not hesitate to get in touch with us for advice.
