Mark’s Three Peak Challenge for CFUK

CFUK supporter Mark Hewitt got in touch with us recently, to let us know about his latest fundraiser:

“I am raising funds for the Cystinosis Foundation UK, by walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on September 1st 2018. This will be the third fundraising event that I have arranged, following on from the successful Sheffield Walks in both 2011 and 2012 which raised a tidy sum in the name of Harley Ingham who is a Cystinotic who lives in Sheffield, and who is the son of my friends Paula and Paul Ingham.

This time I am ‘going solo’, by doing the 3 peaks, which is a 24 mile walk in under 12 hours, which also takes on the 3 peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, which is a total of 5200ft of ascent.
My target is £500 to be raised for a fantastic cause.
