Rare Disease Day 2015

Rare Disease Day Logo28th February 2015 is the eighth international Rare Disease Day, which takes place on the last day of February each year. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients’ lives.

You can help raise awareness of cystinosis and other rare diseases by helping to promote Rare Disease Day. You can follow the event on Twitter and like it on Facebook. Plus, the theme for this year is “Raise and join hands”, which you can take part in by uploading a picture of you and your friends raising hands to http://www.rarediseaseday.org/join-your-hands/.
