£150 Donation From Apache

The Cystinosis Foundation would like to thank the charity committee on the Apache Forties Charlie oil platform, in the North Sea near Aberdeen, for their kind donation of £150 to the Cystinosis Foundation UK.

The committee nominated the Foundation after hearing about 6-year-old Lena Forsyth of Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire who suffers from Cystinosis, and follows a similar donation from the Apache Forties Alpha platform earlier this year.

This money will help us in our continuing efforts to fund research projects within the UK. We have already raised over £112,000 towards our £200,000 target!
