SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND RESEARCHERS
IN THE CYSTINOSIS COMMUNITY

£2,000 Raised From Mason’s Lodge Fundraiser!

We would like to thank the Mason’s Lodge for selecting the Cystinosis Foundation UK as the key charity for their St Kenya Ladies Fundraising Night 2009, at the Grand Hotel in Bristol, last Saturday (21st November).

The Foundation was chosen as the key charity for the evening after the organisers heard about Darren Clarke and his daughter, Millie, who has Cystinosis. Darren attended the evening on behalf of the Foundation. "We got amazing support from friends in terms of raffle and auction prizes", says Darren. "I did a little talk on Cystinosis and then carried out the auction."

Over £2,000 was raised during the evening, through the auction and raffles which included prizes ranging from cuddly toys to hot air ballon trips. Over 200 people attended the night and we would like to thank everyone involved for raising such an amazing amount that will help us continue funding research!
