£5,000 Cheque from Grand Lodge

Bob Rumney & Grand Primal David MosesThe Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes have donated their annual award for medical research to the CFUK and on the 1st September, at their national conference at the town hall in Dudley, a cheque for £5,000 was presented to one of their members, Bob Rumney.

Bob (pictured with Grand Primal, David Moses) was warmly greeted and was kindly allowed to address the conference of around 600 delegates. Thanking them very much for their generosity, he went on to give a brief outline of Cystinosis symptoms, treatment and our ongoing research into Cystagon delivery. He was also able to assure the delegates that although no one knew about Cystinosis, it was no less a worthwhile cause to support. At the conclusion, Bob was thanked for attending by the Grand Primal and many people expressed an interest in supporting the CFUK through their local lodges.
