Congratulations and a big thank you to Leslie Smith, who celebrated his 65th birthday in November 2008 and raised £400 for the Cystinosis Foundation UK at his party.
Friends who attended the party at the Football Social Club in Maud, Aberdeenshire, made donations to the Foundation in lieu of birthday gifts. Leslie chose to support the Foundation due to his 8-year-old great-niece, Lena Forsyth, of Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire, having Cystinosis.
Leslie would also like to thank Alison (pictured with Leslie) for organising such a wonderful evening. In addition, we would like to thank all those who made a donation, and also thank Leslie and Alison for choosing to support us.
