A Year Of Running

Keen runner Wayne Bray has set himself the target of tackling 10 half marathons between November 2007 and November 2008 and hopes to raise money for the Cystinosis Foundation UK in the process.

He will initially compete in 5 Coast to Coast Trail half marathons organised by Endurance Life from November through to April, with the first being stage 1 of the Coastal Trail Series around Little Haven in Pembrokeshire. Wayne will then undertake a series of 5 half marathon road runs from April until November 2008.

Wayne has chosen to support the Cystinosis Foundation UK after hearing how a family member of his friend, Darren Luff, was diagnosed with Cystinosis/Gordons Syndrome and how the Foundation receives no funds, other than those raised by its members and supporters.

We wish Wayne the very best in his challenge and hope to bring you regular updates over the next year of his progess. Thank you from us all at the Cystinosis Foundation UK!
