Bowled Over To Be Chosen

Every year, the Buchan Indoor Bowling Club in Aberdeenshire choose to make donations to several local charities and this year we are pleased to announce that the Cystinosis Foundation UK has been chosen to receive a donation of £200 from the club.

This is the second time we have been chosen to receive such a donation, for which we are very grateful, the last time being in 2006. The Buchan Indoor Bowling Club chose to support the Foundation, following the plight of local resident, 7-year-old Lena Forsyth, who suffers from Cystinosis. Her parents have been active in fundraising for the Foundation, helping to raise our profile to organisations such as the Buchan Indoor Bowling Club.
