Cystinosis in the news – Zac’s day at the airport

Thanks to the staff at Glasgow Airport, who treated 11-year-old Zac Borland to what sounds like a dream come true for any boy. As reported in the Daily Record at the link below, Zac, who has cystinosis, had an amazing experience firing water-cannons, sitting in the cockpit of a plane and, to round it all off, a “smash and grab raid” on a toy shop.

Well done Zac – Cumbernauld’s very own Top Gun!
