The Cystinosis Foundation UK are pleased to announce the appointment of 3 new trustees to the charity.
The last few years have seen a continued growth of the charity. By that we mean an increased awareness of cystinosis and our charity, more people supporting us through fundraising activities and a growing number of tasks for the Foundation to perform on a regular basis. To quote one statistic, visits to the website increased by 95% year on year from 2010 to 2011 alone!
Therefore, to help us to continue to be effective in terms of responsiveness, performing work within the community as well as supporting and monitoring research, we have 3 new trustees joining us – Ami Froehlich, Ranjit Seehra and Neil Hutchison. Ami herself has cystinosis, whilst Ranjit and Neil both have children with cystinosis. Therefore, they bring personal experiences that will help with the Foundation’s work, and like all our trustees they do so on a voluntary basis.
In becoming trustees we are grateful to them for volunteering their time and talents and I’m sure you will join me in wishing them well in these new roles.
You can find out more about each of them at Our Trustee Profiles.
