For a brighter future...
We are pleased to announce an update to our fundraising total – as of August 2008, we have now raised £138,030! This has been achieved through the support of many individuals and organisations. Fundraising activities over the past 6 months have included a bridge games day by June Terry, a “Pampered Chef” evening by the Benford family, fun runs and many more activities.
We are grateful to all those who support us and help raise money, without whom so much would not be possible. The Foundation is currently funding a research project at Sunderland University aimed at improving medicines for treating Cystinosis, as well as financially assisting other research at the Robert Gordons University in Aberdeen.
