Fundraising Update – Almost There

We set ourselves the target of raising £300,000 to help support research for the improvement of cystinosis treatments. By November 2011 we had raised £265,208. Now, in February 2012, we are pleased to announced the total raised has now reached £298,112!!

So many people have helped us reach this magnificent total. From those involved in sponsored cycles, marathon runs, all variety of sporting events to those who have simply purchased a few wrist bands or supported us through their online shopping. It all makes a difference and we’d like to take this chance to thank you all for your support.

Through all your efforts we are able to support projects such as those at Sunderland University and we are grateful to Professor Anderson and the research team for reporting on their progress.

2012 looks to be an eventful year and we hope to be able to report smashing through the £300,000 barrier soon. Already we have a fishing competition in Kent and over 30 runners supporting the Foundation in the Paddock Half Marathon. Keep a look out for articles and pictures on all of these events!
