The Cystinosis Foundation UK have registered with the recently formed Fundraising Standards Board. Charities signed up with the Board agree to adhere to a strict set of rules that ensure fundraising activities are undertaken responsibly. The Board also provides a complaints process for the public that members, such as the Foundation, are obligated to follow.

"This is a new body whose role is to ensure charities and fundraisers are adhering to the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Practice and the Fundraising Promise of the FSB", says Paul Doyle, the Cystinosis Foundation UK’s treasurer. “Membership allows us to demonstrate to the public our committment to excellence in fundraising.”
