The Cystinosis Foundation UK has a board of trustees who meet on a regular basis to discuss recent events, future strategy and how best to utilise our resources to their greatest benefit. The board all have different backgrounds, experiences and skills that help them to steer the Foundation as a collective in order to fulfill our aims. All have different connections with Cystinosis. And all give their time freely.
Earlier in 2009, Paul Doyle retired from his position as treasurer. Former chairperson Gareth Jackson assumed the role of treasurer from Paul, with committee member Roy Forsyth replacing Gareth as chairperson. In addition, two members joined the board of trustees, David Benford whose daughter has Cystinosis and Neil Sugden who himself has Cystinosis. You can read all about these individuals at our updated Board Of Trustees page.
