Newly crowned Miss USA supports Cystinosis awareness

In August, Ashley Kazian was crowned this year’s Miss America. And whilst this is a fantastic achievement for Ashley, it is also a major event for the Cystinosis Foundation in the USA, as she is a strong supporter of the Foundation and intends to use her new fame to promote awareness of Cystinosis.

Ashley is a close friend of the McGinnis family, whose daughter Laura suffers from Cystinosis, and as Ashley progressed through each round of the competition, she has been promoting awareness of Cystinosis.
