Paul Clifford completes his 800Km cycle for Cystinosis

Earlier this month, Paul Clifford set off on his challenge to cycle over 800Km from the Southern tip of France, across the Pyrenees, along northern Spain, over several more mountain ranges to Santiago, following an ancient pilgrimage route. His aim was to raise money towards Cystinosis research, being inspired to do so after hearing of how his friend’s daughter suffered from Cystinosis.

And we are extremely pleased to announce that Paul has indeed succeeded in his attempt, when earlier today he texted in to confirm that he had arrived in Santiago.

We congratulate Paul in this amazing personal achievement and thank him for the time and effort he has sacrificed in terms of doing the cycle, training and raising money for the Cystinosis Foundation. The total raised is yet to be confirmed, but is well in excess of £2,500!!!
