Scott Hutchison Auctions Guitar to Raise £1,300

Fender Jaguar ’65 American Vintage reissue guitar

Scott Hutchison, who is a member of Scottish indie rock band, Frightened Rabbit, has auctioned his Fender Jaguar ’65 American Vintage guitar on eBay, raising over £1,300 for Cystinosis Foundation UK. Scott and the rest of the band are always very keen to support the charity, given that his niece, Morven (daughter of trustee, Neil Hutchison) has cystinosis. We are very grateful for their support, they have raised large sums of money ever since Morven’s diagnosis in 2010. As with all money raised the proceeds from the sale of Scott’s guitar will of course be put to good use in funding research into treatments for the condition.

Scott is the vocalist and guitarist for Frightened Rabbit. The band has 3 other members: Grant Hutchison (drums), Billy Kennedy (guitar, bass) and Andy Monaghan (guitar, keyboards). They have released 4 studio albums, with their most recent reaching number 9 in the UK albums chart and number 2 in the Scottish Albums Chart.
