Super Chef Sells Sixty Pounds

As part of activities to mark Cystinosis Day, Philippa Blackham, who lives in Edinburgh, baked various cakes and biscuits, which were sold at a cake sale at W Greens, Legal Publishers, her place of work.

Philippa spent several evenings preparing banana breads, flap jacks and chocolate coconut macaroons which, along with donations of home baking from several colleagues, were sold in the office. Philippa's cakesA lucky number draw to win a bottle of champagne, wristbands sales and a quiz also contributed to a grand total of £60 for the Cystinosis Foundation UK’s research appeal. Philippa, a legal editor, has been involved in various fundraising events for the Cystinosis Foundation UK and also proofreads the website on a voluntary basis.

Well done, Philippa, and thank you for all your efforts. And thank you to all those who purchased the cakes – we hoped you enjoyed eating them too!
