For a brighter future...
Congratulations to Kelly Chapman, Hayley Mullings and Poppie Blake who all did a dare-devil dive with sharks on Saturday 10th October 2009 at The Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire. The dive was organised to raise money for the Cystinosis Foundation UK in memory of 18-month-old cystinotic Jack Chapman (Kelly’s nephew). The brave trio were supported by their friends and family who accompanied them on the day. Before being allowed to dive with the sharks, the girls had a two hour Padi Diving training session.
We are incredibly grateful for the efforts of Kelly, Hayley and Poppie – as a group they estimate that they have raised in the region of £3,000! The final amount has not yet been confirmed as donations are still being received in support of their achievement.
