“Team Kempy” on Radio 5 Live plug the Cystinosis Foundation UK

Team Kempy managed to get “spotted” by Radio 5 Live who were reporting from Greenwich, the start location for the London Marathon. They swiftly got rounded up and gave a brief description on Radio 5 Live regarding who they were supporting in the London Marathon and some details on the Cystinosis Foundation UK charity.

Well done “Team Kempy” for your help in raising awareness of the charity on Radio 5 Live!

“Team Kempy” were the supporters of Martin Kemp, who ran the London Marathon on the 17th April 2011 in aid of the Cystinois Foundation UK and managed to raise a total of over £3,000.

From left to right, “Team Kempy” consists of – Derek Kemp, Jen Kemp, Katie Kemp, Becki Avery, Damien Cole and Marc Turner. Good work and efforts “Team Kempy”!

Here is some video footage of the moment Radio 5 Live grabbed the team in their green wigs and t-shirts!
