This Sunday, 5th September a team of 5 fundraisers is taking on the ‘Tough Mudder‘, which is described as ‘a series of obstacle and mud runs that will push your physical and mental limits’. And, as the name suggests, it is known to be a very muddy challenge.

Their JustGiving page was set up by team captain Sarah, whose friend is Mum to 6-year-old Ellie, who has cystinosis. Sarah knows how challenging life can be for Ellie and her family, this inspired her to want to raise some money to help pay for research into new treatments.

Sarah’s husband Michael, step-daughter Daisy, step-son Lewis, and son Oliver will all be taking part in the event on Sunday.

We’d like to say thank you and wish them good luck! We’ve sent them some t-shirts to wear to complete the course, as you can see in the picture above. We don’t expect them to stay white for long!
