The Sixth International Cystinosis Conference will be held in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy at the Village GeTur. If you are thinking of going, have booked already, or have questions about the conference, please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you and perhaps meet you at the conference. We are hoping to have representatives attend on behalf of the Cystinosis Foundation UK (TBC).

Getting There
The closest airports to Lignano Sabbiadoro are Venice, Trieste and Udine. A public shuttle bus exists between the aiport and Lignano Sabbiadoro: http://www.atvo.it/index.php?lang=it&area=25&menuid=25
ON SEPTEMBER, 23rd A FREE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE WILL BE ORGANIZED FROM VENICE AIRPORT TO GE.TUR. VILLAGE AT 8AM, 12AM, 4PM, 8PM AND FROM TRIESTE AIRPORT AT THE SAME HOURS.
ON SEPTEMBER, 26th A SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE WILL BE ORGANIZED FROM GE.TUR. VILLAGE TO VENICE AIRPORT AT 2PM AND 6PM AND TO TRIESTE AIRPORT AT THE SAME HOURS.
Alternatively, from Venice or Trieste, you can take a train as far as Latisana and then travel by bus or taxi to Lignano Sabbiadoro. From Udine a direct bus connection exists. To drive from Venice or Trieste, take the A4 highway, turn off at Latisana and follow signs south to Lignano Sabbiadoro – we’re warned traffic can be heavy and tolls expensive on the toll roads, whilst Lignano Sabbiadoro has limited and expensive parking generally.
